Overview
One component of the Main Sensory Slaved Armament (MSSA) is the stabilized electronic optical sensor system (SEOS). The associated bearings are characterized by high rigidity and accuracy between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Because at a firing range of several kilometers, every thousandth of a degree of deviation is crucial.
Development
IBO was contacted to provide a second opinion on the solution of an established market leader. Within the given interface parameters, we created a significantly better solution in the shortest possible time and in a more application-oriented approach. Our EN9100 certification, the associated documentation and simply great service were experienced by the customer as a comprehensive solution.
Result
IBO was awarded the contract for the entire series.
